Enhanced Password Protection: You can apply a global password to all documents to provide basic security with minimal effort, or you can include an individual user passwords in the <pdfexplode> tag directly from your database.

 

More E-mail Options: You can specify a different sender name for each type of document based on the Message ID or the specific client.  You can also apply importance and sensitivity flags to your e-mail messages.

 

Quick Mail:  A new Quick Mail feature lets you manually e-mail ad hoc documents without inserting the customary <pdfexplode> tag.  Plus, if you use Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express, you can select e-mail addresses from your existing contact list.

 

Added Security: PDF-eXPLODE now supports SSL and TLS, two of the most common types of email encryption used by e-mail services such as Google™ G-mail™.  

 

Other Conveniences: Silent Mode now offers the option to suppress all status windows so you can continue working without interruption during large batch processing. Each time PDF-eXPLODE options are modified, a backup copy is automatically saved in a user-specified folder plus many other added conveniences like sending anyone an E-Mail notification automatically when a PDF-eXPLODE processing run is complete.

How to Upgrade to Version 2                                                      

Upgrading from PDF-eXPLODE Version 1 to Version 2 is quick and easy. Please review the steps below before starting.

  1. Click on the link to purchase either a new or upgrade license: Buy
  2. You will receive an e-mail with a License ID and Password.
  3. Uninstall Version 1 - DO NOT DELETE SETTINGS or you will have to re-enter them! Only one version can be installed on the same computer.
  4. Install Version 2: If you have not previously downloaded, you can Download Now
  5. Open PDF-eXPLODE.
  6. Select Activate online License ID and click Continue..
  7. Enter the License ID and Password and click OK.
  8. Re-enter all passwords.
    1. Select PDF-eXPLODE Options on the Printer menu.
    2. Click Mail Settings.
    3. Re-enter Sign-on Password if one is required.
    4. Click PDF Security Settings.
    5. Re-enter User Password and Owner Password if previously specified.
    6. Click the plus sign next to Mail Settings, and all plus signs within Default Message ID Tags and Clients.
    7. For each Message ID Tag and Client, re-enter User Password and Owner Password if previously specified.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Close PDF-eXPLODE.

Try Version 2 Before Upgrading                                                  

If you prefer to try PDF-eXPLODE Version 2 before upgrading, you can install and use the Free trial version for 45 days. The Version 2 trial allows you to explode and e-mail the first 25 PDFs. Trial version e-mail messages contain a brief promotional message at the bottom. Archived PDFs contain a cover page noting the file was created with PDF-eXPLODE.

Please note that you cannot install BOTH Version 1 and Version 2 on the same computer. You will need to install the Version 2 trial on a different computer than you currently use for PDF-eXPLODE Version 1.

  1. Download V-2 here. Trial the software up to 45 days
  2. When you are ready to purchase Version 2, open PDF-eXPLODE and select Purchase this software online.
  3. You will receive an e-mail with a License ID and Password.
  4. Enter the License ID and Password and click OK.
